In-house and third party testing
All products manufactured by Caldwell conform to at least some form of product standards. However, in the scenario where existing product standards do not exist – for a specific bespoke product, or a brand new hardware range – we also have our own in-house testing procedures to ensure that our products are of a consistently high standard. Our in-house product testing guarantees that products without defined standards can be rigorously tested for numerous cycles to simulate years of use – meaning that they are not only safe but also designed to give the end user excellent levels of durability and reliability.
To further compound on internal testing procedures, Caldwell also employ routine third party audits to make sure that our testing procedures are up to date, and that they test products to a satisfactory level.
For more information on specific testing procedures, feel free to contact Caldwell’s technical department.
ISO 9000 quality assurances
Aside from our own in-house testing, we are able to give our customers peace of mind, as all Caldwell products are manufactured according to standards in line with BS EN ISO 9001 quality assurances – a family of quality management systems standards which ensure that we not only strive to meet customer and stakeholder requirements, but also have to conform to product regulation standards.
Caldwell remain up to date with the latest product and industry developments through active membership within several leading bodies in the construction and fenestration industries. We are members of the Council for Aluminium in Building (CAB), as well as the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF). The CAB is an organisation which brings together the leading voices of aluminium trade associations, whilst the GGF is the primary body within the UK promoting the development of the glazing industry.
As prominent members of each group, our customers can be assured we adhere to the good practice, product standards, and latest developments promoted by these two leading bodies. For more information visit our authorities information page
